Funny how an unceremonious $20 cable bill increase can make a decision for you.  I've elected to give AT&T U-Verse a shot after all, and this is the first of a series on my experience.

TV4US at cable's throat again over Big Ten, NFL Network

After pushing through the "Video Competition Act", the AT&T-backed lobby group TV4US is punching cable below the belt again -- this time over Big Ten Network and NFL Network.

I've finally taken AT&T's U-Verse for a test drive this afternoon.  Much as I lust for it, I can't justify it.  Are they pricing it out of reach of those with lesser means (like me)?<

The game clock is ticking for cable

Holy Three in HD - NFL, Big Ten and WLUK

August is going to be a "make or break" month for local cable companies Time Warner Cable and Charter Communications.  Why, you ask?  Just one word... football.
